Indian Markets May Open Flat To Positive On Friday
After a solid rally of 177 points on the Nifty on Thursday, we may see a flat opening for the markets on Friday.
Overnight, the US markets closed higher, as bond prices rallied and so did the US markets. The Dow Jones ended 1.43 per cent higher or 372 points. Most Asian markets including the Korean Kospi and the Japanese Nikkei were trading higher.
Stocks to watch in trade today
1. Yes Bank
The Bank's Qualified Institutional Placement stands opened. The stock may continue to exhibit volatility based on the placement.
2. Coffee Day Enterprises Ltd
The company in a notification to the stock exchanges has said it has appointed Ernst & Young. "The Board of Directors in the meeting held today has appointed Ernst and Young LLP ("EY") to investigate into the circumstances leading to statements made in the purported letter of the former Chairman, late Mr. V. G. Siddhartha dated 27 July 2019 and to scrutinize the books of accounts of the Company and its subsidiaries," a release said.
3. India Bulls Housing & Lakshmi Vilas Bank
As per a notification issued to the exchanges the Bank said that it was closely working with Indiabulls Housing Finance to ensure all regulatory approvals are received for the planned amalgamation of both the entities.
It maybe recalled that both the companies are looking at a merger and an approval from RBI has been sought.
4. Tata Chemicals
The company may see a good rally in its share price, following an increase in net profits
of nearly 16 per cent. Watch for the stock in trade.
5. Page Industries
Page Industries is also expected to be in the news after the profit fells 11.1 percent to Rs 110.6 crore from Rs 124.4 crores.
6. DHFL
DHFL has said that its payments that are due in the neat future maybe difficult to honour. The stock has been extremely volatile this week and the volatility may continue.
