Stock, Forex Markets Closed For Ganesh Chaturthi
Indian markets including forex markets are closed today for Ganesh Chaturthi. Last week, Indian markets gained after Nirmala Sitharaman in the previous week announced some capital markets booster measures including the withdrawal of surcharge for FPIs.
Also, renewed hopes of US-China negotiation on trade front, provided some investor relief.
Meanwhile, Asian stocks continued to be weak as there appears to be no trade deal between the two nations in sight.
Rupee though gained on Friday, ended the month erasing all gains made in calendar year 2019.
