Airtel Payments Bank Launches “Bharosa” Savings Account
This week, Airtel Payments Bank launched its 'Bharosa savings account' that provides basic banking services and comes with a personal accident insurance cover of Rs 5 lakh.
The account enables its customers to withdraw cash, check their balance or access a mini statement at over 6.5 lakh Aadhaar-enabled payment system (AePS) outlets across India.
One can open a 'Bharosa savings account' at Airtel Payments Bank with a minimum monthly balance of Rs 500.
The personal accident insurance cover of Rs 5 lakh comes on maintaining a minimum monthly balance of Rs 500.
The account will allow you one debit transaction per month.
If the customer decides to receive government subsidies in their Bharosa account or make cash deposits, he/she is also eligible for cashback offers.
Airtel Payments Bank is a joint venture between Kotak Mahindra Bank and Bharati Airtel. It offers digital banking services through a network of 5,00,000 neighbourhood banking points spread across India. It provides UPI enabled and digital wallet payment services over its app.
