Delhi Police Launches App To Pay Traffic Challan, File FIR
The Delhi Police has launched its new app "Tatpar" to allow Delhiites file an FIR (e-FIR) or pay traffic challans using just their smartphones.
Delhi Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal launched the app which is a one-stop destination for access to over 50 citizen-centric services like theft e-FIR registration, motor vehicle theft e-FIR registration, payment of traffic filing a lost report, checking complaint status, reporting of missing or stolen mobile phones, applying for police clearance certificates, tenant/domestic help verification, searching for stolen vehicles, pre-paid taxi booth, etc.
It also allows users locate their nearest police station and call various helpline numbers.

Besides online eFIR registration, Traffic services, facilities for senior citizens, missing person services, etc., Tatpar includes an SOS button for urgent police assistance.
The app was designed by the IT ministry along with the National e-Governance Division and amalgamates all the websites and mobile applications of the Delhi Police.
The app also comes with an SOS button on the home screen which helps the user contact an emergency contact number of their choice or reach the Police Control Room (PCR) at 100, with a single touch.
The android version of Tatpar app is ready for launch, while the iOS and bilingual versions are under development.
