After the earlier Rs. 4 lakh cover with airtel prepaid plan worth Rs. with 28 days validity, the telecom giant has yet another term cover offer for you in association with Bharti AXA. The incumbent aims to tap the widely reached mobile services for building a financially secure India.

In this new offering, pre-paid plan of Rs. 599 comes pre-bundled with 2GB data daily, 100 SMS per day and unlimited calls to any network plus the subscriber will get a protection cover of Rs. 1 lakh from Bharti AXA Life Insurance. The recharge has a validity of 84 days and so on every recharge, the cover remains valid for 3 months.
Through the offer which currently is available only across Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry, the uninsured or underinsured individuals will be able to get sufficient term cover as and when they recharge their phone
"We believe our network is a great platform to digitally deliver a range of services and solve the problems of customers. We are delighted to partner with Bharti AXA Life Insurance to roll out this innovative offering and remove the barriers of price, access and payment inconveniences for the adoption of life insurance in India. We remain committed to building a digitally enabled and financially secure Tamil Nadu and Puducherry," Manoj Murali, Hub CEO - Kerala and Tamil Nadu, Bharti Airtel said.
"We have always been at the forefront of creating customer-centric protection products in the industry. The strategic association with Airtel as a Group master policyholder and Airtel's pan-India vast distribution network will boost insurance penetration in the country. The introduction of term insurance with every pre-paid recharge provides protection benefits to consumers,'' said Vikas Seth, Managing Director and CEO, Bharti AXA Life Insurance.
So, deep mobile penetration across areas and geographies in the Indian sub-continent will be leveraged to expand the base of insured population which is very poor at less than 4% of the total demographics.
Individuals aged between 18 and 54 years can recharge their Airtel phone with the Rs. 599 plan and get insurance document instantaneously delivered with no paper-work.
