Hindustan Unilever Dividend: Shares of India's largest Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company, Hindustan Unilever, will remain in focus on Monday, June 22, as they will trade ex-dividend on the day. Hindustan Unilever had announced a 2100% dividend for its shareholders in May.
HUL shares closed marginally higher at Rs 2304.9 per share on BSE on Friday, June 22. The company scrip value has declined nearly 1.16% in past five trading sessions.

Hindustan Unilever Dividend
The company, in April, had announced a dividend of Rs 24 per equity share with a face value of Re 1 each. With this, the company had paid a total dividend of Rs 53 per share in financial year 2024-25.
Hindustan Unilever's board of directors "recommended a final dividend of Rs. 24 for the financial year ended 31st March, 2025 on Equity Shares of Re. 1/- each. The Company had earlier paid an interim dividend of Rs. 19 per share and special dividend of Rs. 10 per share on 21st November, 2024. The total dividend for the said period amounts to Rs. 53 per Equity Share of face value of Re. 1/- each."
HUL Dividend Record Date
The FMCG giant has fixed June 23 as the HUL dividend record date. Which means that only those investors who own Hindustan Unilever shares on or before the record date, ie June 23, are eligible for the dividend.
A company fixes a record date to determine the eligibility of shareholders for corporate actions like dividends, stock splits, bonus issues, etc.
"This is further to our letter dated 24th April, 2025, wherein the Company had informed that the Register of Members of the Company will remain closed from Tuesday, 24th June, 2025, to Monday, 30th June, 2025 (both days inclusive) for payment of Final Dividend and AGM of the Company. This is to inform that the record date for the above purpose is Monday, 23rd June, 2025," the company stated in a BSE filing.

HUL shares closed at Rs 2304.9 per share. The company stock touched its 52-week high mark of Rs 3,034.50 per share on BSE on 23 September, 2024. The company stock dipped to its 52-week low mark of Rs 2,136 apiece on 4 March, 2025. The stock has an ROE of 21.09.
HUL Q4 Result
Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) reported a net profit of Rs. 2,493 crore for the March quarter of Financial Year 2024-25, marking a slight decrease of 3.3% from Rs. 2,406 crore in Q4 FY24. Although profit growth was modest, it reflects the company's ongoing commitment to operational efficiency.
Earnings before tax and exceptional items reached Rs. 3,377 crore, showing a small increase from Rs. 3,264 crore during the same period last year. This indicates a steady financial performance despite challenges. Total expenses for Q4 rose to Rs. 12,136 crore compared to Rs. 11,813 crore in the previous year. The rise in expenses was mainly due to increased employee benefits amounting to Rs. 789 crore.
Advertising and promotion expenditures also contributed significantly to the expense increase, reaching Rs. 1,454 crore. Additionally, other operating costs amounted to Rs. 1,971 crore. Despite the rise in expenses, HUL successfully maintained a healthy EBITDA margin of approximately 21.8%. This demonstrates the company's ability to manage costs effectively while sustaining profitability.
