37 Stocks Hit 52-Week High On NSE

On Monday, around 37 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE as the stock exchange's benchmark index touched a new all-time high. Among these were Aditya Birla Capital, DLF Limited, Tata Chemicals, CDSL, Tata Global Beverages, Metropolis Healthcare Limited, Motilal Oswal Financial Services, SRF, Relaxo Footwears, AGC Networks, Alkem Laboratories and Deepak Nitrite.

During the day, Nifty 50 touched an all-time high of 12.337.75 lead by gains of Infosys, Coal India, Sun Pharma, Wipro and Britannia Industries. On the other hand, shares of Yes Bank, Bharti Infratel and Tata Motors were among the top losers on the index.

Last week, Infosys Ltd reported an 11 percent year-on-year increase in its net profit at Rs 4,457 crore and also said that its audit committee after an independent investigation found no substantial merit in whistleblower allegations on CEO Salil Parekh and CFO Nilanjan Roy.

Yes Bank's board approved raising of funds up to Rs 10,000 crore through a mix of equity and debt and decided not to proceed with Erwin Singh Braich-SPGP Holdings' offer.
