Dividend Dhamaka: Aditya Birla Group's flagship metal company, Hindalco, is all set to reward investors with a 500% dividend payout for the financial year 2025-26. Hindalco share price is likely to remain in focus due to the upcoming dividend record date.
Hindalco share price today closed 1.14% lower at Rs 969.6 per share on BSE with a market capitalisation of Rs 2,17,891.08 crore. The stock had touched an intraday high of Rs 978.20 per share and an intraday low of Rs 963.20 per share.

Hindalco Dividend
Hindalco's board of directors, had earlier announced a final dividend, ie 500% for the financial year 2025-26. Hindalco's board of directors had recommended "a Dividend of Rs. 5 (Rupees Five only) per Equity Share of the face value of Rs.1/- (Rupee One only) each for the Financial Year ended March 31, 2026."
The dividend recommended by Hindalco will be paid after approval at the ensuing 67th Annual General Meeting (AGM).
Hindalco Dividend Record Date: How To Get Eligible For the Payout?
To become eligible for the payout, it is important for shareholders to own the stock before the dividend record date, ie Friday, July 10, 2026. The company further clarified that the dividend paid will be taxable in the hands of the shareholders. "TDS rate may vary depending on the residential status of the shareholder and the documents submitted to and accepted by the Company under the provisions of the Act," as per Hindalco BSE filing.
Hindalco Share Price Trend
Hindalco stock closed lower on Tuesday. The metal stock surged to its 52-week high mark of Rs 1,179.35 per share on May 29, 2026. The stock dipped to its 52-week low mark of Rs 656.85 per share on August 12, 2025. The stock has a return on equity (ROE) of 14.8%. Hindalco's share price value has surged more than 40% in one year and around 8.3% in 2026 so far.
Hindalco Q4 Result Recap
Hindalco's Q4 profit (standalone) stood at Rs 2934 crore, which is 87.9% higher than Rs 1,561 crore reported in the year-ago period. The Aditya Birla Group subsidiary reported a sequential decline in its Q4 profit against Rs 3,017 crore reported in Q3FY25.The Aluminium producer's standalone revenue stood at Rs 34,244 crore in Q4FY26 against Rs 25,116 crore in Q4FY25.
Hindalco's earnings per share (EPS) stood at Rs 13.22 during the quarter under review.Hindalco's Novelis reported revenue of Rs 43,810 crore in Q4FY26 against Rs 39,703 crore in the year-ago period. Revenue from aluminium upstream increased to Rs 11,418 crore in Q4FY 26, against Rs 10,311 crore reported in the year-ago period. Revenue from aluminium downstream segment stood at Rs 4,867 crore. Copper segment saw a sharp uptick in revenue to Rs 22,156 crore from Rs 14,565 crore reported in the year ago period.
