7th Pay Commission: Govt. Employees To Get DA Hike By This Date

Central government employees for long are awaiting a salary increment that is due in July and for the same a meeting of the Finance Ministry, members of the National Council of JCM, Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) has been scheduled for June 26. The main aim of the meet as per Shiv Gopal Mishra, member of the National Council of JCM will be to pay the 7th Pay Commission DA (Dearness allowance) arrears to the central government employees and 7th Pay Commission DR (Dearness relief) benefits to the retired employees.

Also, the government is expected to release the 3-pending DA installments that were frozen on account of the pandemic. Notably, for central government employees 3 DA installments as well as DR for pensioners that became due on January 1, 2020, July 1, 2020 and January 1, 2020 were not released.

 

Furthermore, the EPFO has released a circular concerning Annual Performance Assessment Report (APAR). From the current financial year, the APAR module of HR-Soft online has been rolled out for EPFO officials. Likewise it is compulsory for all officers in the cadre of the given categories to file their self-appraisal in the system for reporting, reviewing and monitoring the APAR via digital mode only. The specified categories include hese include ACC(HQ), ACC, RPFC-1, RPFC-11, APFC, DD(Vig), AD(Vig.), DD(IS), AD(IS), DD(OL), AD(OL), Director (OL), Section Officer and EO/AO.

In view of the pandemic, the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) has released an office memorandum, extending deadline for APAR-related tasks for group 'A', 'B' and 'C' cadres.
