Aadhaar Seva Kendra Now Open On All Days

As the footfall at ASK have been increasing, the UIDAI has now decided to keep all the centres open at all of the days. In the earlier instance, Aadhaar centres were closed on Tuesdays.

How to locate the nearest Aadhaar centre?

To locate the nearest UIDAI-operated ASK, you can visit the UIDAI portal and click on the tab saying 'Book an appointment'. The dropdown menu lists out all of the cities where these UIDAI run Aadhaar Seva Kendra are located such as Delhi, Patna, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Agra, Chennai, Hisar, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Vijaywada, Bhopal, Dehradun, Ranchi, Guwahati, Mysore and Jaipur.

In the current place, there are as many as 19 functional Aadhaar Seva Kendras at present and the body plans to have in place 114 centres in 53 cities by 2019 end.

In a case when the appointment is booked for new aadhaar card enrolment, you need to provide details such as name, gender, date of birth, address etc. In case a change is requested in your current aadhaar database then you need to give in your aadhaar number when booking the appointment.

And if you cant find such specific centres near you then you can also go to Aadhaar Kendras being run in banks, post offices, BSNL customer centres, and other designated state government offices. You can locate such centres by going on to the link of the UIDAI portal saying 'Locate an enrolment centre'. For the same, you need to give the state, PIN corde, your city or district or your locality name.
