Ace Investor Ashish Kacholia Trims Stake In Small Cap IT Stock: Do You Own?

Ashish Kacholia, an ace investor, sold a portion of his stake in the small-cap company D-Link India on Wednesday through open market transactions. Kacholia sold around 1.94 lakh shares in the firm, or 0.54% of the company, according to the bulk trade data of NSE. As of the March quarter, the investor held 7.50 lakh fully paid up equity shares, or around 2.11% stake of the firm. In other words, following a recent stock sale, Ashish Kacholia now owns 5.56 lakh shares, or 1.57% stake of the company as a whole.

Ashish Kacholia publicly owns 42 stocks with a net value of more than Rs. 1,939.3 Cr., according to the latest corporate shareholdings declared. Kacholia raised his stake in Faze Three and Garware Hi-Tech during the March 2023 quarter while he also added Aditya Vision, Inflame Appliances, Virtuoso Optoelectronics, DU Digital Global, and Venus Pipes to his portfolio.

D-link India's overall net profit jumped almost twofold to Rs 20.19 crore in the March 2023 quarter from Rs 11.7 crore in the same quarter last year. In the same period of time revenue from operations totaled Rs 311 crore as opposed to Rs 272 crore in Q4FY22.
On Friday, the shares of D-Link (India) opened at Rs 229.85 apiece and went downside to Rs 226.00 logging a fall of 1.07% while writing this copy. The stock touched a 52-week-high of Rs 311.00 on (09/11/2022) and a 52-week-low of Rs 105.20 on (20/06/2022).

Commenting on the outlook of the stock, A R Ramachandran, Co-founder & Trainer-Tips2trades said "DLink India looks bearish on the Daily charts with next support at 224. Till a Daily close above 237 is not achieved, investors should avoid buying this stock."
