Adani Ent, Adani Green, Adani Power: Adani Group Shares Trade In Green As SC Hears Adani Hindenburg Case

The share price of Adani group companies remained on investors' watchlist on Friday as the Supreme Court is slated to hear the Adani Hindenburg row in just few minutes from now. Today the share price of three Adani stocks including Adani Enterprises, Adani Power, and Adani Green Energy traded in the green. The share price of Adani Enterprises was spotted trading 1.08% higher at Rs 2197.80 per share at 1:29 pm IST.

Adani Green Energy shares were up 1.12% at Rs 940.95 per share while the share price of Adani Power was up almost 2% at Rs 389.05 per share at 1:30 pm today. Meanwhile, the stock Adani Energy Solutions also traded higher today.

A bench headed by the Chief Justice of India (CJI) DY Chandrachud is scheduled to hear the Adani-Hindenburg case in the Supreme Court today.

Earlier this week, a contempt plea was filed against the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) concerning a delay in the investigation. In August, SEBI held that it has concluded its investigation in 22 out of 24 cases in the Adani probes.

The market regulator had reasoned delays on account of information awaited from companies situated abroad. Petitioners in the case have flagged continuous deferment of hearing. The apex court assured that it will look into the issue.

In this week Adani shares have mostly traded on a positive note. On November 21, 2023, the positive trading in Adani group stocks added over Rs 20,960.2 crore in investor wealth in intraday trading. One should note that on January 24, this year, the US Shortseller Hindenburg Research had levelled serious charges including stock price manipulation against the Gautam Adani-led Indian conglomerate.

At the time of writing this story, the two benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty traded almost flat. Sensex was trading at 65,955.85, while Nifty 50 was seen at 19,784.30 level.
