Adani Enterprises Included Into Nifty 50,Adani Total Gas, HAL Gets Into Nifty Next 50

The Index Maintenance Sub-Committee (Equity) of NSE Indices Limited has decided to replace stocks in various indices as part of its periodic review as listed hereunder, and the changes came into effect from September 30, 2022. According to NSE, Shree Cement Ltd. has been excluded from Nifty 50, while Adani Enterprises Ltd. has been included in Nifty 50.

The share price of Shree Cement Limited fell by 1.70%, quoted at Rs. 21,220.10, at the time of writing. On the other hand, the share price of Adani Enterprises gained by 3.49%, quoted at Rs. 3,346, at the same time.

Additionally, Adani Enterprises Ltd., Jubilant Foodworks Ltd., Lupin Ltd., MindTree Ltd., Punjab National Bank, Steel Authority of India Ltd. (SAIL), and Zydus Lifesciences Ltd. were excluded from the Nifty Next 50 list. On the other hand, Adani Total Gas Ltd., Bharat Electronics Ltd., Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd., Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd., MphasiS Ltd., Samvardhana Motherson International Ltd., Shree Cement Ltd. have been included into Nifty Next 50.

UCO Bank, Eris Lifesciences Ltd., Glenmark Life Sciences Ltd., Hathway Cable & Datacom Ltd. were excluded from Nifty 500, while Adani Wilmar Ltd., Vedant Fashions Ltd., and NIIT Ltd. gets into Nifty 500.
