Adani Enterprises Raises $213 Million In Joint Venture For Data Center Construction

Adani Enterprises, one of India's leading multinational conglomerates, has successfully raised $213 million through a joint venture (JV) with private data centre operator EdgeConneX to pay for its data centres that are now being built.

According to a statement from the corporation, the money would be used to fund two data centres with a combined capacity of 67 megawatts (MW) in the cities of Chennai and Noida.

The joint venture, known as AdaniConneX, would aim to create a 1 GW sustainable energy data centre platform by 2030, with investments planned all around the nation, the business noted.

In addition to ING Bank NV, MUFG Bank Ltd, Mizuho Bank Ltd, Standard Chartered Bank, Natixis, and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, the financing facility has the backing of other lenders as well.
