Adani Enterprises Says Govt Probing Accounts Of Two Adani Group's Airports In Mumbai

Adani Enterprises has informed via an exchange filing that the corporate affairs ministry is investigating the accounts of two Adani group airports in Mumbai.

The company said that the step-down subsidiaries of Adani Enterprises Limited (AEL)- Mumbai International Airport Limited ('MIAL') and Navi Mumbai International Airport Limited ('NMIAL'), have received communications dated October 06, 2023 (received on October 12, 2023) from the Office of the Regional Director, Southeast Region, Hyderabad, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, relating to initiation of investigation of books of accounts and other books and papers in terms of section 210(1) of the Companies Act, 2013.

The company said, " Pursuant to Regulation 30 of SEBI Listing Regulations, we would like to inform you that Mumbai International Airport Limited ('MIAL') and Navi Mumbai International Airport Limited ('NMIAL'), step-down subsidiaries of Adani Enterprises Limited ('Company') have received communications dated October 06, 2023 (received on October 12, 2023) from the Office of the Regional Director, Southeast Region, Hyderabad, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, relating to initiation of investigation of books of accounts and other books and papers in terms of section 210(1) of the Companies Act, 2013."
