Adani Green Energy, Adani Total Gas, Adani Enterprises: Why Are These Adani Shares In Limelight Today?

The share price of Adani group stocks including Adani Green Energy, Adani Total Gas, and Adani Enterprises remained in the spotlight on Wednesday on a slew of developments taking place in the Indian conglomerate.

On Monday, a petitioner filed a new application and sought a fresh panel claiming that the Supreme Court-appointed panel probing allegations against the Adani Group over a report by US-based short seller Hindenburg Research on January 24 this year has three members posing a potential conflict of interest. The request came just days after a similar allegation in court of Sebi having a conflict of interest in its probe against Adani. The three experts named in the petition filed on Monday include OP Bhatt, KV Kamath, and Somashekhar Sundaresan.

Currently, the six-member court-appointed committee includes industrialist OP Bhatt (Chairman of the Greenko group), Justice JP Devadhar, veteran banker KV Kamath, Infosys co-founder Nandan Nilekani, and lawyer Somasekhar Sundaresan, and will be headed by former Supreme Court judge Justice AM Sapre.

The Supreme Court is expected to hear the petition on October 13.

Adani Green Energy:

The share price of Adani Green Energy remained in focus on Wednesday after a media report suggested that French oil giant TotalEnergies is considering to invest approximately $300 million in a new joint venture (JV) company with the Adani group's renewable energy firm. Last week, a Bloomberg also highlighted the possibility of Total acquiring stakes in a few Adani Green Energy's projects with an aim to expand its clean energy portfolio.

In today's early morning trade, the share price of Adani Green Energy was spotted trading 0.78% lower at Rs 997.10 per share at 9:38 am IST.

Adani Enterprises:

Today, the share price of Adani Enterprises traded a tad higher at Rs 2,515.55 per share at 9:40 am IST. On Monday, Adani Enterprises settled at Rs 2501.10 apiece down by 1.5%.

Adani Total Gas:

Adani Total Gas shares were spotted trading 0.16% lower at Rs 638.10 per share at 9:42 am IST today. The share price of Adani Total Gas closed in the green on Monday after the company announced that it won an order worth Rs 130-150 crore from Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation placed
