Adani Group Commits Rs 2.3 Lakh Crore Investment in Odisha for Power and Infrastructure
The Adani Group has pledged to invest Rs 2.3 lakh crore in Odisha over the next five years. This investment will span sectors like power, cement, industrial parks, aluminium, and city gas expansion. The announcement was made during the Utkarsh Odisha 2025 investor meeting. Karan Adani, Managing Director of Adani Ports and SEZ Limited, met with Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majgi to exchange MoUs for these investments.

The group did not provide detailed plans for the investment. However, this commitment marks the largest investment intention by any group at the Utkarsh Odisha 2025 event. The meeting also saw the successful landing of the first test flight at Dhamra Airstrip on Tuesday.
Adani Group's Investment Plans
During the event, six projects by Adani Total Gas Limited (ATGL) were inaugurated in Odisha. These projects include an electric vehicle charging station at Bhubaneswar airport and the completion of a city gate station cum mother station project. Additionally, a groundbreaking ceremony was held for an LNG cum multi-fuel hub in Bhadrak.
Other projects launched include a CNG station in Balasore and the first domestic piped cooking gas charging and burner in Bhadrak. A CNG station project was also completed in Rairangpur, marking a first for Mayurbhanj district. These facilities are expected to be accessible to the public soon.
The Adani Group's significant investment commitment highlights its focus on expanding infrastructure and energy solutions in Odisha. The projects aim to enhance the state's industrial capabilities and support its economic growth over the coming years.
