Adani Shares See Best Day Since Hindenburg Report As Single Day Rally Adds $15 Billion To Group's Market Value

Tuesday (November 28), turned out to be the best day for Adani Group stocks since the publication of US Short-seller Hindenburg Research's report on January 24 this year, which leveled serious allegations of stock price manipulation against the Gautam Adani-led Indian conglomerate.

Today, the market value of Adani Group surged by over $15 billion as the group stocks skyrocketed, rallying up to 20% in a single day. The positive movement in the shares of Adani group companies was seen after the Supreme Court on Friday concluded hearings on the Adani-Hindenburg case and observed that the market regulator Sebi must complete the investigation in all 24 cases. The Indian stock market was closed on Monday on account of Guru Nanak Jayanti.

In today's intraday trading session, shares of Adani Adani Enterprises Ltd. surged more than 12% at one point. At the market close, the stock was up 8.66% at Rs 2423.70 per share.

The share price of Adani Total Gas surged 20% higher to hit a day high of Rs 644.15 per share. Today, the stock touched the upper circuit of Rs. 644.15. At today's price, Adani Total Gas has a market cap of Rs 70,844.27 crore.
Adani Ports And Special Economic Zone Ltd (APSEZ) shares closed 5.20% higher at Rs 837.80 per share. On Tuesday, Adani Ports shares also saw an intraday spurt in volume by more than 21.03 times.

Adani Energy Solutions shares settled 19.06% higher at Rs 868.15 per share. Today, the stock touched an upper circuit of Rs. 875.00.

Adani Green Energy shares soared 12.27% at Rs 1052.45 per share on Tuesday, and the share price of Adani Power Ltd surged 12.32% to Rs 445.80 per share. Today, Adani Power shares traded at a new 52-week high value of 464.30.

The Adani group market cap stood at Rs 10,94,060.61 crore in today's intraday trading compared to Rs 10,27,114.67 crore on Friday. On January 24, 2023, the company had a market cap of Rs 19,19,888.44 crore.
