Gautam Adani's younger son, Jeet, is set to marry Diva Shah next month. The ceremony will be simple and traditional, without any celebrity presence. Adani, currently on a Mahakumbh pilgrimage with his family, dismissed rumours of a star-studded wedding. He emphasised that the event would be modest, akin to those of ordinary people.

Social media has been rife with speculation about the wedding guest list. Names like Elon Musk and Bill Gates were rumoured to attend, with Taylor Swift performing. However, Adani firmly denied these claims. "Definitely not!" he responded when asked if the wedding would be a grand celebrity affair.
Wedding Details and Speculations
Jeet, 28, got engaged to Diva in March 2023 during a private ceremony in Ahmedabad. The wedding is also planned for Ahmedabad. There were rumours that an India-England cricket match at Motera stadium was rescheduled for the wedding. Speculations included extravagant elements like 1,000 supercars and chefs from 58 countries.
Adani clarified these rumours while performing the Ganga Aarti at Prayagraj's Triveni Sangam. He stated that his upbringing and lifestyle reflect those of common working-class people. Jeet was present to seek blessings from Ma Ganga. The wedding will remain a simple family affair.
Adani Family's Maha Kumbh Visit
During their Maha Kumbh visit, the Adani family offered prayers at the Lete Hanuman Temple. They also participated in the Mahaprasad Seva at ISKCON, where Adani supports distributing over one lakh free meals daily. Additionally, Adani is distributing one crore prayer books printed by Gita Press of Gorakhpur.
Adani praised the arrangements at the Maha Kumbh Mela, especially the policing and sanitation efforts by the Modi and Yogi governments. He suggested that management institutes and corporate houses study the successful administration of the Mela for its exemplary execution.
In contrast, Mukesh Ambani's youngest son Anant's wedding last year was a lavish affair attended by global celebrities and business leaders. Anant married Radhika Merchant after four months of extravagant pre-marriage celebrations featuring performances by pop stars like Rihanna.
The Adani family remains committed to their values despite public speculation about Jeet's upcoming nuptials. They continue to focus on simplicity and tradition as they prepare for this significant family event in Ahmedabad on February 7.
