Adar Poonawalla Acquires 50% Stake In Karan Johar's Dharma Productions For Rs 1,000 Crore; Details

Adar Poonawalla-led Serene Productions has announced the acquisition of a 50% stake in Karan Johar's renowned Dharma Productions and its sister company, Dharmatic Entertainment, for Rs 1,000 crore. This alliance was revealed in a press release.

Under this new partnership, Karan Johar will retain his position as Executive Chairman of Dharma Productions, ensuring that the creative vision that has made Dharma a household name remains intact. Apoorva Mehta will continue to lead as Chief Executive Officer.
