Aero India 2025 Asia's premier aerospace and defense exhibition officially began today at Yelahanka Air Force Station in Bengaluru and will continue till 14th February. The Airshow was inaugurated by India's Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.
This highly anticipated event will feature thrilling aerial displays, advanced aviation technology, and a strong emphasis on India's indigenous jet engine development.

1. Expect Heavy Air Traffic at Bengaluru Airport
Due to the Aero India airshow, Bangalore is expected to witness increased air traffic over the next five days. This is expected to potentially disrupt flight schedules, leading to delays in arrivals and departures. Passengers traveling during these dates should check with their airline for any changes in flight timings and plan accordingly to avoid inconvenience.
2. Pass Registration is Mandatory
Visitors at Aero India 2025 must register for a pass before entering the event. Passes can be purchased online from the official Aero India website--- www.aeroindia.gov.in.
There are three types of passes available for both Indian citizens and foreign visitors at the Bangalore airshow :
- Business Pass - Rs. 5,000 per person (valid Feb 10-12)
- General Visitor Pass - Rs. 2,500 per person (valid Feb 13-14)
- ADVA Pass (Air Display Viewing Area) - Rs. 1,000 per person (valid Feb 11-14)
Important Note: The airshow is open to the general public only on February 13 and 14.
3. Aero India 2025 Event Timings
The airshow in Bangalore will take place daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. There will be two aerial displays per day, one in the morning and another in the afternoon, showcasing fighter jets, aerobatic teams, and advanced military aircraft maneuvers.
4. Strict Security Measures in Place
Visitors should be prepared for stringent security checks at the entrance. A valid government-issued ID proof is mandatory for verification. Security personnel will conduct bag checks and metal detector screenings to ensure safety. It is advisable to carry only essential items to the airshow to avoid long delays at security checkpoints.
