The price of 24 karat gold, known for its highest purity, increased by Rs 98 per gram, reaching Rs 11,073 on Wednesday. Similarly, 22 karat gold climbed by Rs 90 per gram, closing at Rs 10,150. The sharpest rise was seen in 18 karat gold, which jumped Rs 174 per gram to settle at Rs 8,405.

24 Karat Gold Rate Today in Chennai

The price for 8 grams of 24 karat gold in Chennai went up by Rs 784, now priced at Rs 88,584. For 10 grams, the increase was even higher at Rs 980, taking the price to Rs 1,10,730. For bulk investors, the 100-gram rate surged by Rs 9,800 compared to the previous day, reaching Rs 11,07,300.

Chennai Gold Rate Today: 22 Karat Gold Prices on September 10

22 karat gold prices in Chennai also showed a steady rise. The rate for 1 gram increased by Rs 90, reaching Rs 10,150 from Rs 10,060 the day before. For 8 grams, the price climbed Rs 720 to Rs 81,200.

The 10-gram price rose by Rs 900, standing at Rs 1,01,500, while the 100-gram bulk rate went up by Rs 9,000 to Rs 10,15,000.

18 karat gold saw the most significant price hikes on Wednesday in Chennai. The rate for 1 gram increased by Rs 174 to Rs 8,405 from Rs 8,231 the previous day. For 8 grams, the price jumped by Rs 1,392 to Rs 67,240. The 10-gram price also surged by Rs 1,740, closing at Rs 84,050. Bulk purchases of 100 grams are now priced at Rs 8,40,500, reflecting a substantial increase of Rs 17,400 compared to the day before.
