Air India Launches Summer & Spring Sale on International Flights: Up to 15% Discount on Europe Routes

Air India has announced limited-period Summer Sale and Spring Sale schemes on international routes, targeting upcoming summer and festive traffic. The offers cover flights to India and other overseas destinations from Asia, Europe, the United Kingdom and Canada, with discounts on base fares and seat upgrades for bookings made within specified windows.

Air India Summer Sale discounts on international flights to India

The main Summer Sale booking period runs from April 21 to April 25, with transactions allowed between 00:01 IST on April 21 and 23:59 IST on April 25. The scheme applies only to one-way international bookings, calculated on base fares, while taxes and surcharges remain extra as per standard practice.

For travellers starting from SHI routes, which include Singapore, Bangkok, Bali, Kuala Lumpur and Tokyo, discounted tickets are valid for journeys between April 29 and October 15. Savings differ by cabin: Business Class tickets attract up to 10% off, Premium Economy up to 7%, and Economy Class up to 5% on chosen flights into India.

Air India Summer Sale: UK Passengers Offered 10% Fare Cut Until December 10

European passengers, excluding those flying from the United Kingdom, receive higher Summer Sale concessions across Air India’s international network. The carrier is offering up to 15% off base fares for travel between May 1 and December 10. Travellers boarding from the United Kingdom can access up to 10% discounts on journeys taken until December 10.

Air India Spring Sale Benefits for International Flights

Alongside the Summer Sale, Air India has rolled out a separate Spring Sale for departures from Canada. Under this programme, passengers can receive discounts of up to CAD 500 on base fares for journeys to India and onward destinations. Bookings are open until April 25, with travel permitted from May 1 to December 31.

The airline has added further promotional benefits linked to both sales for eligible routes. A flat 10% discount applies on select seat upgrades, covering Premium Economy seats, front row options and emergency exit rows. Logged-in users on Air India’s digital platforms can also secure extra fare discounts of up to 15% and a 50% cut in convenience fees.

Seats made available under the Summer Sale and Spring Sale are limited and follow a first-come, first-served policy. For some routes, bookings must be completed at least 10 days before departure to qualify for the reduced fares. The offers apply only to flights operated directly by Air India and regular cancellation, change and refund rules continue to govern all tickets.
