All Nifty Sectoral Indices Trade In Green; IT, Realty Outperform

After tech stocks in the US edged higher and US stock futures Dow Jones and Nasdaq trading with gains, Indian markets are trading in the green. With Nifty up by 212 points at the time of writing this copy at 9:52 am. Broader markets as well as have been outperforming with Nifty Midcap 100 up by 1.3 percent.

Among Nifty sectoral indices ahead of the budget 2022 announcement there is seen resilience in any of sectors, with realty and IT stocks gaining by over 2 percent.

Also, other than the above sectors Auto stocks have also been in a positive trend. This is ahead of the robust January sales data.

Within the IT pack, the sector is up for the second consecutive day and is near 100 DEMA. And among the Nifty IT stocks the gains have been Mindtree is up over 6 percent, likewise, Tech Mahindra, LTI and L&T Services Ltd are up by between 3-5-5% in trade today. At around 10:28, the index has inched higher by over 3 percent.

Also, realty sector stocks, cement and housing finance companies' have been gaining in trade today as there are high expectations that Budget will dole out sops to push infra in the Indian economy. Realty stocks that saw the highest gains from the Nifty Realty pack have been Godrej Properties, Brigade and Phoenix.
