About Alpha Movie

Directed by Shiv Rawail, Alpha stands out as one of the first female-led spy-thriller in the YRF Spy universe. It is the first female-led film in the YRF spy universe, with Alia Bhatt and Sharvari playing elite intelligence operatives. THe movie places both actors at the centre of the action story that is traditionally led by male stars the Bollywood. Alpha release has just come months after Dhurandhar: The Revenge's box office success. Many social media users compared Alpha with Ranveer Singh's spy drama's raw and uncut presentation.

The wider YRF Spy Universe began with the Tiger films and later expanded through War and Pathaan. These titles helped establish a bankable theatrical model around espionage, star power, international locations and high-stakes action. Alpha extends that model by shifting the focus to two women leading the mission.

Bobby Deol appears as the antagonist, adding another high-profile name to the cast. Anil Kapoor also plays an important role. Together, the cast positions Alpha as a major franchise entry rather than a side project, which explains why expectations around cameos, connections and post-credit material have been especially high. The film's theatre response has also centred on its action choreography, background score and the screen pairing of Alia Bhatt and Sharvari.
