Apple's iPhone 17 which launched in India last September at a sticker price of Rs. 82,900 for the base variant, is now available for less than Rs. 50000 for buyers willing to exchange offers with bank discounts, a saving of over Rs. 33,000 off the original launch price.

Apple iPhone 17 Headline Price

The iPhone 17 currently costs almost 40% less than its Rs. 82,900 launch price from September 2025. It should be noted that this isn't a straightforward discount on the price tag, rather it's an effective price that buyers can get only after putting in multiple offers.

Discount Details

Retailers and Apple's own resellers are currently running various offers to bring the price down substantially:

You can trade in an older iPhone or other eligible smartphone to get a base exchange value, which can run into tens of thousands of rupees depending on the condition and model of the device being traded in.

On top of the standard trade-in value, the current ongoing sale period adds an extra bonus ranging from Rs.3,000 to Rs.10,000 depending on the value bracket of the device being exchanged.

Several banks are also running instant discounts and cashback deals on the iPhone 17 through this period. These typically range from roughly Rs. 1,000 to Rs .6,000, applicable on both EMI and non-EMI transactions depending on the card and bank.

Why the Price Is Dropping Now

Since the iPhone 18 lineup is already going to be launched in September this year, retailers are clearing out existing inventory with aggressive trade-in and bank offers ahead of fresh stock or any other price revision.
