Global tech giant, Apple has surprised tech and fashion enthusiasts alike with the launch of a new and somewhat unconventional accessory, a sock-like iPhone bag called the iPhone Pocket. Developed in collaboration with Japanese fashion icon Issey Miyake, the product combines Apple's signature minimalistic design philosophy with Miyake's artistic approach to textiles, particularly his renowned pleated designs.

The iPhone Pocket comes in two distinct variants, each catering to different use styles:

iPhone Pocket Short Strap Variant: Priced at USD 149.95 (approximately Rs 12,500), this version can be worn on the wrist or attached to a bag for convenience.

iPhone Pocket Long Strap Variant: Priced at USD 229.95 (around Rs 19,000), this crossbody version allows users to wear the accessory like a sling bag.

iPhone Pocket Colours: 'Piece of Cloth', Designed By Issey Miyake

According to Apple, the iPhone Pocket is inspired by "a piece of cloth," reimagining what a pocket can be through the lens of Issey Miyake's artistry. The design reflects Miyake's signature pleated textures, which have been a hallmark of his work for decades.

Apple has announced that the iPhone Pocket will be available starting November 14 at select Apple retail stores and online platforms. The initial rollout will cover several international markets, including:
