Attention! SBI's Mobile Banking Hits Technical Snag
State Bank of India (SBI) customers faced problems on Thursday morning with mobile transactions. Indian customers, the State Bank of India (SBI), are facing problems in their attempts to implement online transactions. Users cannot log into YONO, the bank's most important mobile app, nor cannot use the Unified Payments Interface to push through payments (UPI).
Following recent online-service disruptions in HDFC Bank, YONO, the flagship of Indian State Bank, faced a system failure today.
The failure also occurs on the first day that the SBI branches are closed down for business. On Twitter on the 31st March, and again today at 11:30 a.m, the bank notified users of its services being down from 2:10 p.m. to 5:40 p.m. today but not accounting for the current failure.

Usually, the Bank sends a message to its users that digital services are not available for a specified time if the servers are down for maintenance. But there was no warning this time around.
On 30th it was @HDFC_Bank, today it's @TheOfficialSBI...what is happening to the Banking sector!
