The multi-language release helped the film post solid initial numbers. English and Hindi versions contributed the bulk of the revenue, while Telugu and Tamil versions provided steady support during the first three days. Malayalam and Kannada versions added smaller but consistent contributions to the overall total.

Dhurandhar Box Office Collection Vs Avatar: Fire and Ash Box Office Collection

The Hollywood release is facing stiff competition from Dhurandhar, which continues to dominate Indian theatres. While Avatar: Fire and Ash slowed sharply on its first Monday, Dhurandhar posted a much stronger hold. On its third Monday, the Ranveer Singh-starrer collected around Rs 16 crore, nearly double Avatar 3's weekday figure.

With Rs 571.75 crore already collected in India, Dhurandhar remains firmly in control and is expected to cross the Rs 600 crore mark within the week. Its sustained performance is also limiting show counts for Avatar: Fire and Ash, particularly in major metro markets.

Govinda 'Avatar' Cameo Goes Viral: Know Reality Behind It

Meanwhile, social media has been flooded with viral clips and images suggesting Bollywood actor Govinda appears in Avatar: Fire and Ash. These visuals, however, are entirely AI-generated. The fake clips, often presented as leaked theatre footage, have briefly convinced many viewers due to the film's ongoing global theatrical run.

The trend appears to be linked to an old interview in which Govinda claimed he was once offered Avatar but turned it down. The original Avatar later went on to earn USD 2.9 billion worldwide and the claim has since evolved into a long-running internet meme-now revived through AI imagery amid the release of Avatar: Fire and Ash.
