Axis Bank CFO Resigns

On Friday, Axis Bank informed that its group executive and chief financial officer (CFO) Jairam Sridharan has resigned.

"He would like to pursue other career opportunities and as such has resigned from the services of the bank," the private bank said in its statement.

Sridharan will continue to serve as the group executive and CFO of Axis Bank under his notice period of three months, it further added. The private bank has initiated a succession plan for finding a replacement.

"The bank places on record its appreciation for the invaluable contribution provided by Jairam Sridharan during his tenure as the Group Executive & Chief Financial Officer of the Bank and we wish him the very best in his future endeavors," Axis Bank said in a statement.
