Ayodhya Ram Mandir: Ambani Family Donated This Much Amount To Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust

The Ambani family, which attended the grand Ram Lalla consecration ceremony in Ayodhya, has made a contribution of Rs 2.51 crore to Ram Mandir Trust, according to media reports.

"Mukesh Ambani, along with his family members, has made a donation of ₹ 2.51 crore to the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust," read a statement from the family.

"This sacred endeavor, the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, carries profound cultural importance," it added.

The highly awaited 'pran pratishtha' ceremony of the Ram Lalla idol saw high-profile political figures, India's richest family, and celebrities attending the grand event in Ayodhya on Jan 22 (Monday). Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the ceremony to unveil the Lord Ram Lalla idol in the newly constructed Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir. The ceremony took place in the presence of Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat.

Industrialists and business tycoons who joined the inauguration of the Ram temple at Ayodhya included Indian billionaire Mukesh Ambani and his family, steel tycoon Lakshmi N Mittal, telecom czar Sunil Bharti Mittal, Reliance Group head Anil Ambani and Aditya Birla group chairperson Kumar Mangalam Birla and his daughter Ananya Birla, among others.

Film stars and Bollywood celebrities who were seen at the mega consecration ceremony included Actors Amitabh Bachchan, Kangana Ranaut, Abhishek Bachchan, Vivek Oberoi, Madhuri Dixit, Vicky Kaushal-Katrina Kaif, Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt, Ayushmann Khurrana and filmmakers Madhur Bhandarkar, Rajkumar Hirani, and Rohit Shetty. South superstars Rajinikanth and Dhanush reached the Ram Temple, a day after he reached the temple town of Ayodhya for grand consecration. Newlyweds Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram also flew to Ayodhya to attend the event Ayodhya.

Reliance declared a holiday on January 22:

The Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries announced a holiday for all its offices in the country on January 22, in the wake of 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony.

Ambani was accompanied by his wife Nita Ambani, along with their children Anant, Akash, and Isha Ambani and their partners Radhika Merchant, Shloka Mehta, and Anand Piramal at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya yesterday.
