On its opening day, 'Baahubali: The Epic' earned an impressive Rs 10.80 crore in India, including Rs 9.65 crore from standard screenings and an additional Rs 1.15 crore from special shows. The film continued its solid performance on its second day, November 1, 2025, collecting approximately Rs 7 crore across all languages, according to early trade estimates by Sacnilk.

With a two-day domestic total of Rs 17.80 crore, the re-release has exceeded expectations and is now eyeing the Rs 20 crore mark as it enters Sunday, traditionally a stronger day for box office collections.

S.S. Rajamouli's Film Baahubali: The Epic Telugu Version Leads Box Office

As per Sacnilk data, the Telugu version recorded the highest turnout among all language editions, achieving an overall occupancy rate of 53.04% on Saturday. Morning shows saw a 37.34% turnout, while afternoon and evening screenings attracted larger audiences with 58.56% and 58.02% occupancy, respectively. Night shows registered a slightly higher figure at 58.22%.

Prabhas' Baahubali: The EPic Hindi Version Box Office Performance

The Hindi version of Baahubali: The Epic recorded a comparatively modest overall occupancy of 14.90% on Saturday as per Sacnilk. Morning shows began slowly at 7.95%, but attendance gradually improved throughout the day. Afternoon and evening shows averaged around 15%, while night shows peaked at 21.01%.

In Mumbai, Hindi screenings saw an average occupancy of 15.75%, with night shows drawing the most viewers at 19%. Pune performed slightly better at night, achieving an occupancy rate of 25%, while Bengaluru's Hindi screenings registered a significantly higher overall occupancy of 38.25%, indicating stronger interest from metropolitan audiences.

Baahubali: The Epic Review and Storyline

The re-edited version of Baahubali: The Epic offers a three-hour and 43-minute cinematic experience, merging both films into one cohesive storyline. Director S.S. Rajamouli explained that this special version was designed to provide audiences with a tighter, more immersive experience while retaining the essence of the original saga. Certain subplots - including Avantika's love story and select songs were trimmed to maintain pacing and narrative focus.
