Bajaj Auto Q4 results: profit after tax jumps 93.81% on record volumes and forex

Bajaj Auto reported a 93.81 per cent rise in consolidated profit after tax to INR 3,492.21 crore for the quarter ended March 31, supported by record sales volumes, a stronger product mix, and favourable foreign exchange. Revenue from operations increased to INR 17,832.46 crore, while total vehicle sales rose 24 per cent year on year.

Bajaj Auto Ltd reported a sharp rise in consolidated profit for the quarter ended March 31. Profit after tax rose 93.81 per cent to Rs 3,492.21 crore. The company said record sales volumes and favourable foreign exchange supported the result. It had reported Rs 1,801.85 crore profit in the same quarter last year.

Consolidated revenue from operations for the quarter reached Rs 17,832.46 crore. It was Rs 12,646.32 crore a year earlier, the company said in a regulatory filing. Bajaj Auto cited record volumes, a better product mix, and helpful currency moves. Total expenses increased to Rs 15,390.53 crore from Rs 10,219.14 crore.

Bajaj Auto Q4 sales volumes and domestic market

Total vehicle sales in the fourth quarter rose 24 per cent to 13,71,058 units. Sales were 11,02,934 units in the year-ago quarter. Two-wheeler volumes increased 24 per cent to 11,66,689 units. The company had sold 9,43,563 two-wheelers in the same period last year.

Commercial vehicle sales also grew in the quarter under review, the company said. Volumes climbed 28 per cent to 2,04,369 units. They were 1,59,371 units in the corresponding quarter last year. The company said both segments helped lift overall volumes. It also linked higher revenue to improved mix.

In India, two-wheeler sales rose to 6,21,912 units in the quarter. They were 5,01,096 units a year earlier, a 24 per cent rise. Domestic commercial vehicle sales increased 24 per cent to 1,38,934 units. The earlier figure was 1,12,152 units, the company added.

Bajaj Auto FY26 profit after tax and revenue

For the financial year ended March 31, 2026, Bajaj Auto reported higher consolidated earnings. Profit after tax rose to Rs 10,574.50 crore in FY26. It was Rs 7,324.73 crore in FY25. The company also reported higher revenue from operations for the full year.

Consolidated revenue from operations in FY26 stood at Rs 62,905 crore. It compared with Rs 50,994.55 crore in FY25, the company said. Total vehicle sales rose 10 per cent to 51,17,667 units. The company had sold 46,50,966 units in FY25.

Domestic sales growth was slower over the full financial year, the company said. Total vehicles sold in India rose 3 per cent to 28,67,484 units in FY26. It compared with 27,87,685 units in FY25. The quarterly results reflected stronger gains, supported by volumes and currency.
