Bandhan Bank, one of India's leading private sector banks, is set to witness a significant change in its leadership as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Sunil Samdani, has announced his decision to step down from his position and his last working day would be September 30, 2023., business today reported.
"The Bank is in the process of identifying a suitable candidate for the office of CFO," the lender said in an exchange filing.

Samdani said in his resignation letter to Bandhan Bank MD and CEO CS Ghosh that the decision to leave was the hardest of his professional life since "I have built this institution from the start."
As executive vice president and chief financial officer, Samdani joined Bandhan Bank in March 2015. Samdani spent six years as the chief financial officer of Karvy Financial Services before joining Bandhan Bank.
