With a significant presence in South India, Spice Lounge Food Works Limited is a rapidly expanding FMCG company. With more than 500 employees and more than 75 years of combined experience in the hospitality industry, the company, which runs well-known international homegrown brands like Buffalo Wild Wings, Wing Zone, Blaze Kebabs, Tortilla, and the subsidiary TekSoft Systems Inc., announced today that it has obtained the exclusive Master Franchise rights for Wing Zone, a globally recognized quick service restaurant (QSR) brand known for its chicken-based offerings and delicious menu breakthroughs.

Wing Zone is well-known for its renowned sauces, solid flavors, and high-end chicken products. It was founded worldwide and has a significant presence in several foreign countries. Through this deal, Spice Lounge Food Works Ltd. will take the lead in Wing Zone's creation, management, and national growth in India.
In January 2026, the company will open its first Wing Zone store in India in Koramangala, Bangalore, as part of its initial growth phase. Considered by many to be one of Bangalore's liveliest food and beverage hotspots, Koramangala is a desirable site for the brand's India debut because of its high concentration of youthful customers, robust foot traffic, and well-established QSR ecosystem. In order to provide great accessibility and scalable development, the company, led by Chairperson Mr. Mohan Karjela, intends to launch Wing Zone to customers throughout India through an innovative blend of high-street stores and cloud-kitchen models.
Mr. Mohan Babu Karjela, Chairperson and Director of Spice Lounge Food Works Ltd, said: "We are delighted to bring Wing Zone to India and believe this partnership marks an important milestone in our long-term growth strategy. The Indian QSR market is experiencing strong momentum, driven by evolving consumer preferences, rising urbanisation and increasing adoption of global food formats. Wing Zone's internationally acclaimed flavours, paired with our operational expertise, position us well to capture this opportunity."
"Our launch in Koramangala, Bangalore, is only the beginning. We have a clear roadmap for expansion across key metros through a combination of high-street stores and cloud kitchens, ensuring both accessibility and scalability. This acquisition further strengthens our vision of building a diversified multi-brand portfolio and reinforces our commitment to becoming a leading player in India's fastgrowing food services sector," he further added.
As part of a planned, multi-phase development strategy, Spice Lounge Food Works Ltd. plans to broaden Wing Zone's footprint after the Koramangala launch by opening more locations in Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Chennai. Additional rollouts are also planned in other major cities. The acquisition is in line with the company's overarching goal to increase its market share in the rapidly expanding Indian QSR industry and develop a diverse, multi-brand food service portfolio with significant long-term development potential.
With over 75 years of combined hospitality experience and operations in two states, Spice Lounge Food Works Limited is a publicly listed food service firm that operates and expands more than thirteen outlets under top domestic and international brands.
