Gold prices in Bangalore surged for the first time in seven days. 24K gold of 100 grams surged by as much as Rs 1,100 on Friday, November 15, 2024, after the sharpest fall of Rs 37,100 in four days. However, silver prices were unchanged with 1 kg of this precious metal staying at Rs 89,500. The performance of yellow metal and silver comes during the celebration of Guru Nanak Jayanti across India.
Gold Prices In Bangalore On November 15:
24K Gold Prices:
100 grams of gold surged by Rs 1,100 to Rs 7,57,600 on November 15, after falling by a massive Rs 37,100 between November 11 to 14th. Meanwhile, gold price in 10 grams stood at Rs 75,760, up by Rs 110. Also, 8 grams and 1 gram of gold surged by Rs 88 and Rs 11 to Rs 60,608 and Rs 7,576 respectively.
22K Gold Prices:
Here, 100 grams of gold jumped by Rs 1,000 to Rs 6,94,500 on November 15, while the price of 10 grams of yellow metal stood at Rs 69,450 up by Rs 100. Further, 8 grams gold is up by Rs 80 to Rs 55,560 and 1 gram gold edged higher by Rs 10 to Rs 6,945.
18K Gold Prices:
Coming to 18 carats, gold is available at Rs 5,68,200 on November 15, up by Rs 800. While gold prices stood at Rs 56,820, up by Rs 80. Also, 8 grams of gold inched up by Rs 64 to Rs 45,456 and that of 1 gram of gold was higher by Rs 8 to Rs 5,682.
Gold Prices In Bangalore Versus Other Cities:
Gold prices in Bangalore are similar to gold prices in cities like Chennai, Mumbai and Kolkata. However, gold prices are cheaper in Bangalore compared to Delhi and Ahmedabad.
Price of gold in Ahmedabad is at Rs 6,950 per gram for 22 karat gold and at Rs 7,581 per gram for 24 karat gold.
Gold Prices In Bangalore In 10 Days:
On November 15, 24K/100 grams gold surged by Rs 1,100, however, this was not the case till November 8th. Gold price was down by Rs 12,000 on November 14, followed by a decline of Rs 4,400 on November 13, and the highest dip of this week of Rs 14,700 on November 12. Gold price was also down by Rs 6,000 on November 11, after being muted on November 10.
The price was volatile further with the decline of Rs 1,100 on November 9. In 10 days time frame, gold price in Bangalore had surged by Rs 9,100 on November 8 and was up by Rs 1,100 on November 6. The steepest single-day decline of November was seen on November 7th when gold plunged by Rs 17,900 in 100 grams of 24k.
Silver Prices Of Bangalore:
Silver prices in the city stood steady. 1Kg silver was at Rs 89,500 on November 15, unchanged from the previous day. Meanwhile, 100 grams and 10 grams silver stood at Rs 8,950 and Rs 895 respectively. The price of silver in 8 grams and 1 gram stood at Rs 716 and Rs 89.50 respectively.
MCX Gold, Silver Prices:
On November 14, MCX gold futures with December expiry, stood at Rs 74,072 per 10 grams, down by Rs 82 or 0.11%. While MCX silver prices came in at Rs 88,893 per 1kg, lower by Rs 304 or 0.34%. Trading at MCX will be closed for commodities on November 15 due to the celebration of Guru Nanak Jayanti.
