Bangalore Lalbagh Flower Show 2026: The much-awaited flower show in Bangalore, Bengaluru, has begun and is attracting lakhs of visitors. The Lalbagh Botanical Garden floral fiesta, which began on January 14, is likely to see a massive outpouring of visitors on Sunday and in the coming days

The flower show will feature around 35 lakh flowers and 9 lakh cut ones, including Simbidium (from Sikkim) and Oncidium orchids, and temperate flowers. For Bengalurians who are planning to visit the Lalbagh Flower Show 2026, here are all the details about it.

How To Reach Bangalore Lalbagh Flower Show 2026?

The Bangalore Lalbagh Flower Show 2026 will be held between January 14 and January 26 at the Lalbagh Botanical Garden. The garden is located in the south of the city centre (Majestic area) and 38 kilometres from the Bengaluru airport.

People can visit the Bengaluru Lalbagh Flower Show venue via the Bengaluru metro rail network from different parts of the city. They can also use buses, autos, or taxis to reach Lalbagh.

Bangalore Lalbagh Flower Show Tickets

The tickets are priced at Rs 80 for adults, and on holidays, the ticket prices are fixed at Rs 100. For children, the ticket price is fixed at Rs 30 on all days. People can purchase tickets at Lalbagh counters and online on hasiru.karnataka.gov.in/flowershow from Jan 14.

Bangalore Lalbagh Flower Show Theme

The flower show theme is focused to reflect 'The Journey of Tejaswi'. The theme will reflect the life of K.P. Poornachandra Tejaswi who is a celebrated Indian Kannada writer, novelist, photographer, environmentalist, and polymath.

The major flower show exhibition will display around 35 lakh blooming flowers across the garden grounds. Another 9 lakh cut flowers will decorate beds with Cymbidium from Sikkim, Oncidium orchids and azaleas.

The flower show exhibition also plans a 'wild fruits' section with 300 forest varieties. Edible and non-edible fruits will come from Kakankote, Mangaluru and other regions, including the 1.5-metre-long entada giant bean.

Bangalore Lalbagh Flower Show 2026 Key Highlights

The massive central installation, dedicated to Tejaswi, inside the Glass House is the centrepiece of the show. The installation reflects his deep bond with the Western Ghats and include a floral mountain, a waterfall, and a replica of his house 'Niruttara'. The Bengaluru flower show organisers have also attempted to bring life to the characters from Tejaswi's acclaimed novel Karvalo. The characters' installations have been created using over five lakh flowers and 2.4 lakh plants.

"For the first time in the state, two flower tableaux will circulate around the Glass House, enhancing the immersive experience," Deccan Herald quoted M Jagadeesh, Additional Director of Horticulture (Parks and Gardens). Another highlight of the Lalbagh Flower show 2026 is a 12-foot vertical garden titled 'Mantra Mangalya'.
