Bank Holidays In April 2022: Check Complete Details Here

Banking customers will be interrupted in physical visiting of banks for conducting banking services for up to 15 days at the start of the new fiscal year, which begins in April. The most important holiday is on the first day of the month, April 1, 2022, as banks will be closed due to banks' closing of accounts. It should be noted that bank holidays in India fluctuate from state to state and from occasion to occasion, therefore bank holidays will vary, with the exception of the second and fourth Saturdays and Sundays. Bank holidays are divided into three categories by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI): Holiday under the Negotiable Instruments Act, Holiday under the Negotiable Instruments Act, Real Time Gross Settlement Holiday, and Banks' Closing of Accounts. We will discuss Holidays under the Negotiable Instruments Act and Banks' Closing of Accounts according to the RBI's holiday list and including the second and fourth Saturdays and Sundays, for a total of 15 days during which Indian banks will be closed.
