Banks will remain closed for 13 days in the month of August as there are going to be several holidays that may include Rakshbandhan, Janmashtami, August 15, etc. It is crucial to keep a close watch on the days when banks will remain closed so that you can plan your visit to the bank accordingly. In August, there will be six holidays due to Sundays and 2nd-4th Saturdays and banks will not remain open on these days. Meanwhile, banks will be closed for another 7-days as a result of several festivals in various states of India.
