According to the Reserve Bank of India's (RBI) holiday list, banks in India will be closed for nine days in June, along with the weekend holidays. The RBI's calendar also revealed that, with the exception of weekends, the holiday will be varied in different states around the country. YMA Day/Raja Sankranti is on June 15, Guru Hargobind Ji's birthday is on June 25, and Remna Ni is on June 30, all of these have been classified as holidays under the Negotiable Instruments Act. Apart from that, banks will be closed in all states on the second and fourth Saturdays, June 12 and 26, and the four Sundays, June 6, 13, 20, and 27, owing to the weekend. The following is a list of bank holidays according to the occasions.

June 15 (YMA Day/Raja Sankranti), Tuesday: Banks in Aizawl, Mizoram, and Bhubaneswar, Odisha, will remain closed.

June 25 (Guru Hargobind Ji's Birthday): According to the RBI calendar, the day has been classified as a holiday in Jammu and Srinagar.

June 30 (Remna Ni): On the occasion of Remna Ni, banks in Aizawl, Mizoram, would be closed in June 2021.
