Bank Holidays In March: Banks To Remain Close For 4 Days In A Row Next Week
In the midst of ongoing geopolitical tensions, Indian banking customers should be aware that they will be witnessing four consecutive bank holidays next week. These holidays, which include Holi and weekends, will result in Indian banks remaining closed in various regions of the nation. As a consequence, if you arrange a bank visit, keep in mind the bank's closing days to prevent any unnecessary bother. Bank holidays are classified by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) into three categories: Holiday under Negotiable Instruments Act, Holiday under Negotiable Instruments Act and Real Time Gross Settlement Holiday and Banks' Closing of Accounts. All financial institutions across the nation, including the public sector, private sector, foreign banks, cooperative banks, and regional banks, would be closed on holidays falling under these categories.
