Banks To Remain Closed For 4 Days In The Coming Week, Check Details
According to RBI standards, banks will be closed for four days next week, from June 25 to June 30. The banks will be shut on June 24 (today) due to the occasion of Sant Kabir Jayanti at Chandigarh and June 25 for the occasion of Guru Hargobind Ji's birthday at Jammu and Srinagar under the Negotiable Instruments Act. Then there's June 26th, which is the fourth Saturday of the month, when banks across the country are closed. Because Sunday is a national holiday, banks will be closed on June 27 as well.

Furthermore, on June 30, the banks in Aizawl, Mizoram, will be closed due to the occasion of Remna Ni. You need to be aware that both public and private sector lenders will be shut for four days if you have scheduled to visit your nearest bank branch in the coming week. The Reserve Bank of India has announced bank holidays in three categories: Negotiable Instruments Act Holidays, Real Time Gross Settlement Holidays, and Banks' Closing of Accounts. On these declared holidays, all banks in the nation, such as the public sector, private sector, foreign banks, cooperative banks, and regional banks, will be suspended.
