On the occasion of Muharram (Ashoora), Indian banks to remain shut today in Agartala, Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bhopal, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Patna, Raipur, Ranchi, and Srinagar, according to the holiday list of RBI.

Muharram/First Onam, August 20, 2021

All Indian banks are to remain closed tomorrow on Friday due to the occasion of Muharram/First Onam which will be celebrated in Ahmedabad, Aizawl, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chennai, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kanpur, Kochi, Lucknow, New Delhi, Ranchi, and Thiruvananthapuram.

On the occasion of the Thiruvonam festival, banks will remain closed in Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram on Saturday.

Raksha Bandhan, August 22, 2021

Due to the festival of Raksha Bandhan and Sunday (weekend), all Indian banks will remain shut across the country on August 22, 2021.
