Owing to a variety of festivals especially Deepavali/Kali Puja commencing from today, all Indian banks will be closed for up to four days in a row throughout the nation. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has published a list of holidays that are recognized under the Holiday under the Negotiable Instruments Act. As a result, Indian banking customers are advised not to visit their bank branch and instead complete all of their necessary banking activities through their bank's online or mobile banking platform in a hassle-free way, while also celebrating the following festivals for the next four days.

Bank Holidays In November 2021
4th November 2021: Owing to Diwali Amavasaya (Laxmi Pujan)/Deepavali/Kali Puja, Indian banks will remain closed today in Agartala, Ahmedabad, Aizawl, Belapur, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Gangtok, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Imphal, Jaipur, Jammu, Kanpur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Panaji, Patna, Raipur, Ranchi, Shillong, Shimla, Srinagar and Thiruvananthapuram.
5th November 2021: Due to certain festivals such as Diwali (Bali Pratipada)/Vikram Samvant New Year Day/Govardhan Pooja, all Indian banks will remain closed in Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bengaluru, Dehradun, Gangtok, Jaipur, Kanpur, Lucknow, Mumbai, and Nagpur.
6th November 2021: Indian banks in Gangtok, Imphal, Kanpur, Lucknow, and Shimla will be closed due to Bhai Duj/Chitragupt Jayanti/Laxmi Puja/Deepawali/Ningol Chakkouba.
7th November 2021: Sunday

Apart from the above said holidays, here are the rest of the bank holidays in the ongoing month, which banking customers must have a look to schedule their pending banking tasks accordingly.
10th November 2021: Banks will be closed in Patna and Ranchi only for festivals including Chhath Puja/Surya Pashti Dala Chhath (Sayan ardhya).
11th November 2021: Owing to Chhath Puja, all Indian banks will remain shut on this day in Patna.
12th November 2021: All Indian banks in Shillong will be closed due to the Wangala Festival.
13th November 2021: 2nd Saturday
14th November 2021: Sunday
19th November 2021: All Indian banks will be closed in Aizawl, Belapur, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Raipur, Ranchi, Shimla, and Srinagar on this date due to Guru Nanak Jayanti/Karthika Purnima.
21st November 2021: Sunday
22nd November 2021: Banks in Bengaluru will be closed owing to Kanakadasa Jayanthi.
23rd November 2021: All Indian banks in Shillong will be closed owing to Seng Kutsnem.
27th November 2021: 4th Saturday
