BEL Q1 Result: PAT Up 8.2% YoY, Order Book At Rs 72,258 Cr; Navratna Defence PSU To Hike Shares Capital
Bel Q1 Results: Bharat Electronics (BEL) reported an 8.17% growth in net profit to Rs 1,048.33 crore during Q1 of FY27, compared to a profit of Rs 969.13 crore in the same quarter a year ago. On July 27th, BEL declared its plan to raise its authorized share capital to Rs 1,000 crore.
While the Navratna defence PSU posted 25.27% surge in revenue to Rs 5,533.06 crore in Q1FY27, compared to Rs 4,416.83 crore in the same quarter a year ago.

BEL reported a total order book of Rs 72,258 crore as of July 1, 2026.
In its board meeting held on Monday, BEL's board of directors approved to hike authorized share capital to Rs 1,000 crore with 1,000 crore equity shares at a face value of Re 1 each. Currently, the authorized share capital stood at Rs 750 crore with 750 crore equity shares at face value of Re 1.
BEL shares will react to the Q1 result on July 28th. On Monday, the heavyweight stock closed at Rs 407.10 apiece on BSE, up by 0.51% with a market cap of Rs 2,97,581.10 crore.
