The railway services of Namma Metro in Bengaluru will start 1 hour early at 6:00 Am on Sunday, June 16, due to UPSC preliminary exams. The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited announced that the early start of metro services will be to facilitate UPSC Preliminary Exam goers and the General Public. BMRCL encouraged the public to utilize the facility.
In a media release, BMRCL said, given the UPSC Civil Services (Preliminary) Exam on June 16, 2024, Sunday, the metro train services will start at 06:00 hours instead of 07:00 hours from all the terminal stations which are Whitefield (Kadugodi), Challaghatta, Nagasandra, and Silk Institute stations.

BMRCL further said all are requested to avail the facility for hassle-free travel.
The Union Public Service Commission will be conducting the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2024 on June 16, 2024, across the country.
E-Admit Cards can be availed on the website http://upsconline.nic.in by admitted candidates. UPSC has advised candidates to download their e-Admit cards and take a printout.
These e-Admit cards should be preserved till the declaration of the final results of the examination. Hence, no paper admit card will be issued for the same.
On the day of the examination, candidates should provide the printout of their e-Admit card at the allotted examination venues. A candidate who does not produce his/her e-Admit card for checking at the allotted venue, will not be allowed for the examination.
As per the UPSC guidelines, the candidates are also required to carry along the Photo ID card whose number is mentioned in the e-admit card for appearing at each session of the exams.
