Bengaluru Power Cut: BESCOM Declares 6-8 Hours Power Outage On November 22-23: Affected Areas On Saturday

The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) has declared a fresh round of maintenance works in various areas of Bengaluru city and other urban areas, including rural areas and talukas. There could be power disruption for nearly 6 hours to 8 hours in various areas. The authority has asked residents to cooperate with the maintenance work and take necessary precautions.

Bengaluru Power Cut On November 22 and November 23:

According to the official notification, KPTCL will carry emergency management. In view of the work being undertaken, BESCOM said, there will be no power outages in many areas of the city from 10 am to 6 pm on November 22 and November 23.

- Doddanna Nagar

- Muniveerappa Layout

- Sugar Mandi

- Salt Mandi

- Muneshwar Nagar

Overall, affected areas are under the LR Bande sub-station of Bescom.

Another maintenance work will also be carried across all 11KV feeders, and a host of areas will be impacted.

BESCOM will be carrying commercial, operations and quarterly maintenance work within the jurisdiction. The power disruption could take place from 10 am to 3 pm on both November 22 and November 23.

Affected areas will be urban/rural/industrial areas covered by all 11 KV feeders, emanating from Nittur, Ungra, Kadaba, Gubbi, Tumkur, and Ankasandra substations.

The executive engineer has appealed to the citizens to cooperate.

Bengaluru Power Cut On November 23:

BESCOM will carry fresh maintenance work by Kavi Pranini at the 220/66/11 KV power stations on November 23. The work will be held from 10 am to 5 pm.

BESCOM said that the 66/11 KV sub-stations of Gouribidanur, Tondebavi, Ramapur ACC, EHT, Manchenahalli, Vidhurashwattva, Mandikallu, Gudibande, D-Palya, Vatadahosahalli, G Kottoor which are supplied with power from these power receiving stations, will be suspended.

BESCOM Power Cut Advisory:

BESCOM EE Ramesh Kumar said that there will be power disruptions in all rural areas of these taluks, including the towns of Gauribidanur and Gudibande and in Peresandra, Mandikal and surrounding rural areas of Chikkaballapur taluk, where electricity is supplied from these power substations.
