The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) has declared an 8-hour-long scheduled power outage as a precautionary measure due to emergency maintenance work in the 66/11KV Banaswadi substation.

Bescom Power Cut:

As per the latest update, the 8-hours-long power cut will take place on January 21. This will be due to the maintenance work is being carried out in the 66/11KV Banaswadi substation. The timing will be from 10 am o 6 pm.

Hence, there is no planned power cut on January 20th. However, many residents have taken to their X account to reach out to Bescom as they are facing power supply disruption in the early hours of Tuesday. Netizens reveal that there has been power cut in Agrahara badvane, Jakkur and Srinivas Nagar among others.
