Bengaluru Power Cut On November 24, 25 & 26: BESCOM To Carry Out Up To 7-Hours Power Outage: Areas Affected

The Bangalore Electricity Distribution Company Limited (BESCOM) has declared maintenance work from November 24 to November 26 at various power stations. This could disrupt electricity by at least 7 hours in several areas. A 3-hour-long power outage will be held on Monday, November 24, while a 7-hour-long power cut could be seen between November 25 to November 26. BESCOM has asked residents to cooperate.

Bengaluru Power Cut On November 24:

According to BESCOM's notification, power cut could take place from 9 am to 12 pm of November 24 as they will be carrying an emergency maintenance work at their K.V. Vidya Substation in Bengaluru. The work will be carried by K.P.D.C.L.

BESCOM asked the residents of affected areas to cooperate as they will experience intermittent power supply due to the outage.

Meanwhile areas under the 66/11 kV Abbikere Substation could also be impaced on Monday. These areas are Kammakondanahalli, Raghavendra Padavane, Lakshmipur, Vatherahalli, Abbikere Industrial Area, Pipeline Road, Nisarga Padavane, Kempegowda Padavane, Kalanagar Main Road.

Further, areas under 220/66/11 KV Peenya Substation are likely to struggle with electricity shortage. These areas include Peenya 10th & 11th Main Roads, Udupi Hotel Area, IR Polytechnic Road, Lakkare Village, Lovekush Nagar, Raghavendra Nagar, Choudeswari Nagar 6th-9th Cross.

BESCOM Power Cut On November 25 & November 26:

The power supplier also said their team has undertaken link line work in the Katsandra division. Hence, there could be power disruption from 10 am to 5 pm on November 25 and November 26.

Areas Affected On November 25 & November 26:

Majority of areas surrounding Gandhamachanahalli will face power outage. These include villages such as Hullenahalli, Kalingayyanapalya, Holakallu, Singipalya, Badesaba-Rapalya, Virupasandra and Veeranaya-Kanahalli.
