Power outages have become a common issue in Bengaluru city as the Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (Bescom) continues to carry out frequent maintenance work for seamless electricity in severe weather conditions. This time, Bescom has announced a massive 10-hour-long power cut on September 20, 2025, affecting several localities. Notably, BESCOM also earlier confirmed to carry power cuts till September 30 in many regions of Bengaluru and Tumkur city.
Bengaluru Power Cut On September 20:
According to Bengaluru there will be no power supply on Saturday due to maintenance work. This is a latest update and localities like Bharatiya City, Police Quarters, RK Hegde Nagar, and Vidhana Soudha Layout are going to be impacted.
The power cut will be carried from 8 AM to 6 PM.

Bengaluru Power Cut On September 20 & September 21: Areas Affected
Apart from this, BESCOM earlier this week said that there will be no power supply from September 19 to September 21st to facilitate the stringing of HTLS conductor on the single-circuit Sarjapur-Attibele 66KV line.
Bengaluru Power Cut From September 18 To September 30:
Also, BESCOM confirmed that it will work for a separate agricultural feeder which is undertaken under the Atal Bhujal scheme with the scope of Part-1. And, accordingly, there will be disruption in power supply in many places from 10 am to 6 pm.
Bengaluru Power Cut On September 21, 23, 25, 27, and 29:
Areas that will be impacted from 10 am to 6 pm are --- B.B. Palya, Hosahalli, Gubbi Gate, Ring Road, Harohalli, Honnemanahalli, Hebbala, Kuppuru, D.M. Palya, PNR Palya, Narsapura, K.G. Palya, Bhajantri Palya, and surrounding localities.
Bengaluru Power Cut From September 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28 and 30:
Areas like B.B. Palya, Hosahalli, Gubbi Gate, Ring Road, Harohalli, Honnemanahalli, Hebbala, Kuppuru, D.M. Palya, PNR Palya, Narsapura, K.G. Palya, Bhajantri Palya, and surrounding localities will be impacted.
